These PIDG Faston 250 quick disconnect tab crimp connectors consist of a precision-formed metal wire barrel containing serrations which provide maximum contact and tensile strength after crimping. This barrel is enclosed in a copper sleeve and the whole is encased in a nylon colour coded insulation sleeve. These PIDG insulated Faston 250 quick disconnect wire tab terminals are available with different barrel lengths and diameters to accept various wire sizes. Red 0.3 - 1.5 mm²Blue 1 - 2.50 mm²Yellow 0.12 - 0.40 mm²Transparent 0.30 - 0.90 mm² Approvals UL recognised TE Connectivity PIDG Terminals High quality terminals and splices for applications in hazardous operating conditions. The PIDG ("Pre-Insulated Diamond Grip") product range meets the requirements of military standards MIL-T-7928 and BS4G178. The terminals are constructed from high grade copper. The crimp barrel has inner serrations to ensure maximum contact with the stripped wire strands. A bonded nylon to copper sleeve is secured onto the terminal barrel providing simultaneous crimping of conductor and outer insulation giving a connection of high tensile strength and vibration resistance.
