Available in straight and right angled these chemical and abrasion resistant heat shrink boots are made from a tough modified elastomer type -25 (tyco Electronics Raychem RK6713), and meet the Def Stan 59-97 Issue 3 Type DE requirements. Other features include recommended shrink temperature 175°C, self-extinguishing to RK6713 (tyco Electronics Raychem) and an electric strength of 12MV/m (min.) Meets specification VG95343 parts 6, 7, 8, 9. These boots should be used with spin coupling backshells, but may also be used wherever a connector offers a suitable rear mounting.,The adhesive kits contain Bisphenol A epoxy resin and Polyamido-amine which when mixed together sets to form a complete protected seal between the boot and backshell encapsulating the cable.,Adhesive kit 1 is supplied in a sachet form, each sachet set is sufficient for fixing approximately 8 medium sized boots. Kit contains 5 sachet sets, mixing bowls, mixing sticks, instructions and abrasive paper for cable preparation.,Adhesive kit 2 is supplied in a 50ml dual syringe format for use with stock no. 503-379 application gun and stock no. 503-385 static mixing nozzles, so no manual mixing. The user friendly method reduces waste and avoids mess. Kit also contains 5 mixing bowls, mixing sticks, abrasives and instruction sheet.
